Nursing beyond one year...

There's a hand down my shirt collar...

There's a toy tucked into my arm pit...

There's a foot on my chin (a display of amazing flexibility)...

And some one is talking with their mouth full...

I am sure enjoying nursing my toddler!

Since I first "met" you through a comment about extended nursing, I felt like I should comment. :) My comment is: Ditto. Ditto. Ditto (and ditto). Ditto. Ditto!

I am now at nearly 7 1/2 years straight of being pregnant and/or nursing. That's just craziness! (And there hasn't been any pregnant for almost 3 1/2 years, which means Laura is by far my child who has nursed the longest.)

Isn't a mother's body amazing!?

Yes, amazing. And often tired. But still amazing. :)

Jodi,

YOU are amazing! :)

But I know what you're saying. I often forget that behind the face of a joyful adoptive parent is a story of grief and loss. There is new joy but the loss is still felt. It's what make you whole.

Hugs!
