Sunday Cruise

Amanda has been talking about the boat every time she sees it in the yard. She says, "Boat," shows the sign for boat and points to it. We've been waiting for a nice day when Mike didn't have to work to go out. Today was the first day we were able to get out. Mike took the boys fishing while Amanda and I had our after-church naps. We met them at the boat landing after she woke up. Cell-phones are great, aren't they?
Amanda was a little scared of the motor but sitting on Daddy's lap and helping to drive cheered her up.
She's saying and signing, "Water." The sign for water is three fingers in the shape of a "w" bounced on your chin. Toddler signing is a lot like toddler talking- it always needs a little parental interpretation!
She enjoyed watching the jet-ski zoom by our boat.
Tony was with us, too. Tyler got out at the boat landing and walked up to creek to do some more fishing. They said the fishing wasn't very good but the motor was running great. That's a major improvement over last year so they were happy.
